A multi-vehicle accident on a road in Atlantic City NJ left three people with serious physical injuries.

The auto accident occurred a short time before 10:00 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey. One of the vehicles was traveling on the road and approaching the intersection with Missouri Avenue when another car slammed into the side of the vehicle.

After the accident, Atlantic City patrol officers were sent to the scene to check on the victims and make sure the roadway was safe for other motorists. The accident victims were briefly treated at the scene by emergency medical responders and then taken to a nearby Atlantic City medical facility. Officials have not yet released an update on the status of the victims or provided details about their specific injuries.
